As a centre for the Exeter Community, the Princesshay shopping quarter is engaged in socially responsible activities designed to benefit people of all ages.

The Disabled Toilet facility at St Stephens House, Catherine Square, has an adult changing facility, for people with profound disabilities, which features an electric hoist and changing table with enough space for a disabled person and two carers.   A baby change facility is also located at the same site.
